convenience to York University
Lots of student trips present made the breakfast room rather crowded. It would have been nice to have a desk rather than a table for the computer. With wired access there was little flexibility and it faced the AC unit so tended to be cold. I finally went out and bought a $30 router and established wireless access.
It was close to the highway and I wanted to get out off traffic ASAP
Close to York University - about 4 km.
Noise level in the hallways and between rooms. Location is industrial without any restaurants close by.
It was very easy to access the roads and hwys I needed
the actual area was a bit barren but comforting to be next door to police station
It was basic but clean and staff were very helpful and friendly.
It is very far by bus to downtown: 1 hour or so and the area is really not that welcoming.
Bad Location, no dining options nearby
Good value and it was close to where we wanted to be.
Excellent location for our event nearby and access to hwy 400 for return home.
The location was good.
I left a luxury hair product (a new $40 Aveda hair conditioner) on the side of the bathtub. When I realized my error the next morning, I immediately returned to the hotel. They told me that it had not been turned in. I was not impressed with the honesty of the hotel staff. It should have been left at their the lost and found. I plan to write a letter to the manager relaying my concern. He was not available when I returned to the hotel.
When i asked for a non smoking room I actually got a room that didnt smell like cigarettes. Excellent and I will come back.
That there was no room service for meals, not interested in take out when travelling alone or on courses.
Location, courtesy at front desk, value for money
Cheap appearance. Our room had supposedly been freshly renovated. Eventhough room was clean, it lacked character.
Simple and fast self-service breakfast in the morning.
Crowded with school children running around in corridors on last night of my stay.
The rooms were very clean I had to do some work in Vaughn. Therefore, I really liked the location.
It's difficult to find cabs. A combination of uber and taxi hotline is important. The elevators didn't smell good and were painstakingly slow
Really love the bed it was extremely comfortable. The staff was great. The breakfast was ok.
The carpet was discusting and had a terrible smell. I hurt my self and needed a band-aid and something to clean but they did not have any first aid kit. The pool was also out of service the first 2 days of our stay. No compensation or discount was offered to us because of this unpleasant surprise. The eating area was la little bit to small.
